Japanese tea ceremony was transformed into the Way of Tea by Sen Rikyu approximately 500 years ago. From the perspective of the history of Japanese tea ceremony, the periods before and after Rikyu’s era are classified as the ancient and the modern times, respectively.
The participants will enjoy the traditional beauty of Chanoyu that has been keeping in step with the times.
There will also be a panel display to deepen your knowledge of Chado and an activity corner to experience making tea, listening incense and learning the basic manner of drinking tea.
